簡易型-熱管測試系統

In traditional heat pipe performance test, the evaporator wall temperature was slowly increasing when thermal power was step input to the evaporator of the heat pipe. The maximum heat transfer rate (Qmax) was also defined that when the evaporator wall temperature is rapidly increasing at a certain amount of power was input to the heat pipe. However, it is not easy to got this sharp curve and result in the wrong Qmax data.
In this study, we proposed a new concept of heat pipe performance test method through a dynamic tracing to temperature curve. The concept was when we tracing the evaporator and the adiabatic wall temperature, these two temperature curves should be the same trend until the dry-out phenomena was occurred. Theoretically, when the dry-out happened in the heat pipe, the adiabatic temperature trend was no longer the same as that of the evaporator, hence, one may easy to tell when does the dry-out start to happen and the Maximum heat dissipate ability of the heat pipe was then easy to obtained from this method. The experiment result shown that the maximum heat transfer rate is 18W, 16W and 20W at 6mm Diameter 240mm Length, 8mm Diameter 180mm Length and 8mm Diameter 210mm Length heat pipes. Comparing with traditional method results, the mean deviation value of maximum heat transfer rate are less than 10%. The advantage of this method is fast and reliable.
