Heat Pipe Heat Exchanger
Flat Plate Heat Exchanger Technology (HRV)
The flat plate heat exchanger is available in two types of media. For corrosive applications, the polypropylene flat plate heat exchanger provides excellent resistance while providing a very high effectiveness value. These polypropylene flat plate heat exchangers are UL94-HB rated and comply with UL Standard 1812 "Ducted Heat Recovery Ventilators".
If there is a need for an aluminum heat exchanger that meets NFPA 90A requirements, our aluminum flat plate heat exchanger is the technology of choice. The aluminum flat plate heat exchanger is designed for maximum effectiveness equal to the polypropylene flat plate heat exchanger. For both flat plate heat exchangers, we provide an unparalleled 15 year warranty, the finest in the industry.
If your application requires dehumidification, consider applying our Heat Recovery Ventilator. For climates where the outdoor conditions are dryer than indoors, applying a flat plate heat exchanger is a very cost effective dehumidification strategy.

Heat Pipe Heat Exchanger Technology (HRV)
Heat recovery is an excellent way of reducing energy consumption and ventilation costs. This heat pipe recovery unit contains an efficient air-to-air heat recovery device that controls heat loss in both commercial and industrial applications. This passive heat exchanger has no external power requirements and provides the owner with an excellent opportunity to recover energy normally lost through conventional exhaust systems.
Available as a single component or as a packaged system (cooling, fans, filtration, etc.), the heat pipe is an excellent alternative to flat plate heat exchangers and enthalpy wheels.
For source control applications, the heat pipe is the best choice with virtually 0% cross leakage between the exhaust air and supply air. If you have process exhaust air that is greater than 200°F (93.5°C), the heat pipe is also an excellent device to recover the energy normally lost to the outdoors.
