Optical Solar Reflector (OSR) for Satellite Thermal Control

the optical solar reflector (osr), also called as rigid secondary surface mirrors, is used as a passive thermal control element for spacecraft, assisting in maintaining the designed operating temperature.
the osr product are classified into conductive and nonconductive. by using the conductive type osr, not only the satellite temperature can be controlled, but also the potentially hazardous electro- static charge/discharges can be eliminated.
lanzhou institute of physics, chinese academy of space technology (cast) has developed various kinds osr for 15 years. at present, we have developed fused quartz substrate osr and ceo2-doped glass substrate. it has been successfully applied in various satellites made in china.
there are two sizes:
40mm×40mm 40mm×20mm
the thickness of osr: 0.15mm~0.20mm
